Guide
Pactroll is launching soon. This page explains how it works; a full step-by-step walkthrough of the app will live here once it ships.
What Pactroll is
Pactroll is a blocker for gacha games, for iPhone. You pick the games that pull you in and lock them with iOS Screen Time. They stay locked until you decide to unlock them, and the lock holds even when Pactroll is closed. It isn't a spending calculator or a pull planner; its one job is to stand between you and the game when your willpower dips.
How it works
- Lock your games. Choose the apps to block in iOS Screen Time. They stay locked until you decide otherwise.
- "I want to play." When the itch hits, Pactroll walks you through a short, guided break to ride out the urge: name what's going on, then give it five minutes doing something else. If you still want to play after two rounds, it's your call — your games unlock for 15 minutes, then lock again on their own.
- A day count that never resets. There's no streak to lose and no guilt. If you slip, the Toolkit's "After a slip" techniques help you get back on track.
- Toolkit. Short, practical techniques for the hard moments, and how gacha is designed to hook you.
Honest limits
Pactroll is a self-control tool, not medical or clinical treatment, and it doesn't promise to cure a gambling problem. If gacha or gambling is seriously affecting your life or finances, please also reach out to a qualified professional or a local support service.
